Is the packaging recyclable?
Great question! Packaging is an interesting one...especially in the food industry where it not only has to serve wrapping but also safety purposes. In all honesty, packaging has been on their minds and challenging them right from the get go and they are always looking for better, more planet friendly materials. The ongoing pandemic is not making it easy as supply chains are challenging. WhatIF Foods' packaging has been sourced in an environmentally-friendly, socially responsible, and economically viable manner where they can while staying affordable to all customers.

Most of this impact on our planet is determined by packaging materials and how those materials are produced - and because recycling capabilities vary so much from region to region – WhatIF Foods decided to prioritize renewable packaging as much as possible. WhatIF Foods' ultimate goal is to use only fully recyclable packaging that’s also made from fully recycled or renewable materials. In the meantime, WhatIF Foods working with their packaging suppliers to get as close to 100% renewable and recyclable packaging as they can.

Did you know that most packaging which has a “paper look & feel” is usually coated with a clear plastic film? WhatIF Foods are happy to say that all of their hexagonal boxes do not have that coating and can be fully recycled as cardboard.
