Earning this badge means your shop has gone the extra mile. Shoppers often look for cerq-pro status to find our best sellers. To earn a badge, you’ll need to sell on our platform for 12+ months, make +50 sales per month and maintain a consistently high customer rating of at least 4.3.
It’s our digital wallet which makes shopping a whole lot smoother. If you choose to opt in, it makes the shopper experience more seamless and speedy. When customers ask for refunds, it's as simple as the click of a button to refund them directly into their cerq-cash wallet. Plus, it comes with a cash-back feature that will motivate shoppers to come again.
cerq-connect is our built in social platform which allows our eco-conscious community to chat, like and share products, links and status updates. Follow other cerq-ers, comment on their profiles and see where people are shopping.
Shipping & Returns
You have complete flexibility over how you choose to manage shipments, which also means you have full responsibility over handling the costs. We strongly encourage sellers to partner with Sendle, our 100% carbon neutral shipping partner. You’re able to set your own rates based on the price or weight of the products, and can choose to offer international shipping based on regional or national pricing. It’s an optional insurance add-on that your customers can select in check-out. Route+ helps you avoid any challenges with missing packages or late arrivals. They take care of any accidental mishaps along the way and comes at no extra cost to you.
The decision to offer returns is entirely up to you. However, we do ask all sellers to have some kind of resolution in place. If you offer returns, please include the following information clearly in your shop so buyers can make informed purchases: who is responsible for paying the cost of shipping, guidelines on how returns or exchanges work, and a timeline for accepting returns. If you choose not to offer returns, you can instead offer some form of store credit or refunds in an effort to preserve buyer loyalty and in the spirit of good partnership.
Yes! You can configure your store to offer international shipping. Pricing is either Country based or Zone based, which allows you to group the shipping price for multiple countries within a region.
Let’s talk about money
cerq-pay is our fast, automated and easy payment system that is powered by Stripe Connect (Express). Not to be confused with cerq-cash (a digital wallet for buyers to make shopping a one-click experience), our cerq-pay system allows you to get paid quickly, in almost real-time. It’s also how you’ll pay the cerqular team your monthly membership fee. Just like other online marketplaces, sellers are responsible for any transaction fees. We have two seller friendly plans based on the number products you have for sale on cerqular.
There are no monthly or any ongoing fees - the only fee is a referral fee (commission) which only applies when you make a sale - it's also excluding shipping & taxes. So no sale, no fee - no fuss! The referral fee is based on the number of products you list for sale on cerqular. Seller with less than 15 products go onto the small business plan whereas sellers with 16 or more products do onto the enterprise plan. Click here for full details.
You can set up gift cards in your storefront just like any other product you’ve added for sale. Anyone can purchase a gift card, but only registered cerqular users can redeem the card on our site. There is no expiration date, either, so they’re great for any occasion!
