How does it work?
Comb firmly in one direction. The comb needs to be held at a slight angle, much like using a pen.
The Super EEZY™ Comb is specially designed with an angled head to that it's easier on the wrist to manoeuvre around. The branded logo on the handle shows which ways is "up". If you can see the branding as you hold the Comb in your hand, then that's "correct". Having said that, it can be used either way, whatever is more comfortable for you when you're combing.
Keep combing and cleaning off the gathered fluff on the teeth, so it's easily able to keep working cleanly.
How many combs do you offer?
Two (2) EEZY™ Fabric Combs. One is the little blue handle one, and the other is the wooden handle comb that is twice the width of comb than the little one.
Will it damage my knits?
The specially designed brass won't damage or tear the yarn if used as per instructions. The EEZY™ Comb is great for delicate yarns and fine knits such as cashmere, felt hats, beanies, gloves, and suede nap.
Use the Super EEZY™ Comb for larger, chunkier knits, carpets, blankets, and cleaning animal hair from fabric furniture, such as couches, chairs, and upholstered bedheads.
The EEZY™ Fabric Combs work best on natural textiles like wool, cotton, linen. It can also work on acrylic and polyester knits but you need to be more careful as it can snag some fabrics that have a loose weave, or are highly textured. Meaning that there are lots of loops that may get snagged by the comb.
Always spot test in an unseen or hidden place of your soft furniture or knitwear before continuing.

Does it work on EVERY fabric?
The EEZY™ Combs work best on natural fibres like wool, cottons, and linens. As most furniture fabric tends to be an acrylic/polyester mix (as it wears a lot better) it becomes trickier to say whether it will work as well as the natural fibres.
As a rule of thumb, if the fabric is highly textured, or big loops the Combs may snag the fibres and create more fuzz, or pull a thread. If your soft furniture looks fuzzy, as opposed to pilling (where the fibres are in a small ball) it may be best to try the Combs on an unseen part of the garment or furniture, like the reverse side of the knit, or at the bottom of the piece of furniture, before proceeding.
Will the comb break?
In the 40+ years the combs have been made, there has been less than 0.01% of returns due to breakage. That's why The Original Fabric Comb is happy to give a Lifetime Warranty for both of the combs, as they know the products work, and won't let you down. Even better...you never have to buy batteries again, find lost cords, or have blunt blades!
Sometimes the old-fashioned way is the best.

It's made in Melbourne, Australia. It takes 9 small businesses around Melbourne to produce the EEZY™ Comb.

Why do you use a moulded plastic handle on the little comb, and not a wooden handle?
The hard plastic has been chosen as it the strongest, yet most durable product in the market. It allows the special brass unit to stay locked in tight, once it's put into place. It will never break if you happen to drop it onto a tile or cement floor.
The wooden handle looks pretty, but can't be guaranteed for quality.
The Original Fabric Comb looked into the possibility of using recycled plastic to produce the EEZY™ Comb but there isn't enough supply of old hard plastic being recycled to produce enough material to make the EEZY™ Comb, at this stage.
How is the Super Eezy Fabric Comb different to the Eezy Comb?
This Super EEZY™ Fabric Comb is twice the size of the little blue comb, and as such can handle larger, chunkier knits. Also can be used around the home on furnishings to remove pet hair, and lint.
Great for de-pilling your couch to look new again.
The Super EEZY™ Comb has been sold exclusively to the dry cleaning industry, to horse owners to clean their horse blankets, and the general pet trade.

Is that Rust on the Comb?
No, it's not.
As the coloured wax is one of the last steps in the making of the Super EEZY™ Comb, it can sometimes be transferred to the brass or steel by accident. The Original Fabric Comb have a fine wire brush that removes it when they see it, but sometimes they can miss it! It won't affect the use of the Comb, it just looks a little unsightly.
