African White Pearls is grown between 950-1200 M above sea level. Each leaf is hand rolled in order to form the pearl shape. Women are given the opportunity to form this task to reach goals for gender equity. This tea is a specialty orthodox tea. The tea estate is one of the only tea estates left in Malawi, Africa run by family while all the others was bought out by large corporations.
